Who We Are

The WEGON concept started in 2016 in a university library in Perth, Western Australia. It was born from the desire to build a community of adventurous people who love making the most out of life.

The idea came to life in 2022 after spending two years in isolation and restrictions. A newfound pursuit of freedom, adventure and community was the catalyst for the launch of WEGON. 

With a passion for the outdoors; for camping, four-wheel driving, fishing and diving... we want to bring you along on this journey that we love. 

Having spent time travelling and seeing the world, it became clear that many people are not afforded the basic freedoms we take for granted. Together, WEGON change this.

Our mission is to rescue people who have been deprived of their freedom. 

Changing one person's life has a ripple effect on the world around them. With your support we will change many lives, each life bringing us closer to a freedom-filled world.

WEGON strives to financially and physically support people whose freedom has been taken from them. Together, we will create the deserved opportunity thought impossible to those deprived of their basic human rights.

 

Our Approach

WEGON gives everyone the opportunity to contribute towards lasting and positive change within this world, without adding pressure to the demanding nature of everyday life.

WEGON fights to reestablish the freedom of the oppressed, whether it is through supporting human traffic rescue and rehabilitation programs, or through empowering orphans to experience hope and a future.

We collaborate with existing initiatives that share our vision, and we pioneer new projects where we can make a difference.
